Stellar Blade was a big deal when it launched on PlayStation 5 last year. A glossy mix of character action games like Devil May Cry 5, Bayonetta, or Nier Automata and soulslikes such as Elden Ring Nightreign or Sekiro, it's stood out for its solid combat design and detailed visual style. Though it's finally slated for a quickly approaching PC launch, excitement for this new version has been tempered by concerns over players needing to link the game with its publisher's PlayStation Network system and the region locking that accompanies this choice. Now, along with the launch of its first PC demo, good news has come regarding these issues.
The official action game through a new demo. Given its visual fidelity, potential buyers might have been wondering if their PCs are capable of properly running the game. Fortunately, its demo should help answer that question. Save files will work with the full game and there should be plenty to do in the trial version, as it offers an additional boss fight to experiment with after clearing the introductory segment featured in the demo.
Even better, Stellar Blade's Steam page — and the detail that the demo is available "in nearly 250 regions worldwide," per the above post — now shows that the full game should work across the majority of global regions, with only 10 nations still unable to purchase or activate it at the time of writing.
