The next Elden Ring Nightreign patch will help struggling solo players survive the trials of Limveld. Like its predecessor before it, Nightreign is a punishing RPG that will put your skills to the test, no matter which build you use, but it's been built with three-player co-op in mind, and that often leaves lone wanderers coughing in the dust. To help rectify this issue, developer Fromsoftware confirms that Elden Ring Nightreign patch 1.02 will buff solo play.
Playing alone in soulslike throws your way.

"Nightfarers, thank you for playing Elden Ring Nightreign," the developer writes in a post via the official Elden Ring social media channels. "Next week, patch 1.02 will be released, and will include several bug fixes as well as improvements for solo expeditions." Specifically, it mentions two initial inclusions, with further details to come.
The 'Automatic Revival Upon Defeat' effect will be applied to solo expeditions, granting you a second chance "once per night boss battle." Additionally, you'll gain more runes when playing alone, helping you level up fast in Nightreign before things kick off. There's no word yet on whether we'll get any extra time to explore, unfortunately, but perhaps it will make the cut when the patch actually arrives.
There's no date yet for when Nightreign patch 1.02 will land, but expect it sometime between Monday June 2 and Friday June 6. In the meantime, if you're planning to play best Elden Ring classes to ensure you have the best chance of success.
